Prakriti Foundation
We are a socio-cultural association spread across the nation, Started in September, 2010 – Yeshwantpura, Bangalore.
Prakriti Foundation works with non-profit organizations to help them make a positive impact in the education of children. We are committed to providing the best resources and support to our partners so that they can continue to educate children and help them reach their fullest potential. Our group engages educators and students around a diverse set of issues within the education system.
We take great pride in developing ground-breaking CSR programs that yield measurable results and advance social impact on students nationwide.
At present there are 10k+ families in Prakriti Foundation who are involved in various socio-cultural activities. We celebrate Durga Puja with great Pomp and Show. Beside Durga Puja Celebration, we also celebrate Saraswathi Puja and Kali Puja and various other cultural activities.
Prakriti Foundation brings orphans, old age home and needy students together where they can participate in festivals with all rituals with each other encouraging community and togetherness.
This provides children opportunities to showcase their talent, communicate with people who can help them learn many things. This would also give them opportunity to celebrate with good food, new cloths etc. We conduct competitions encourage children and support them. Being there as a community helps them bond emotionally and experience love and togetherness.
Prakriti Foundation invites old age homes when cultural activities are conducted. The reason behind it is because when the old aged people come out the fresh air and new environment makes them to get new experienced relief from them, we get a chance of learning many things. The other reason is to fulfill their desires such as eating good food or variety of food, wearing new cloths, etc. Apart from food they need happiness, when they enjoy celebrating their favorite festival with people, they enjoy making it successful event. This brings lot of joy and health when they feel happy. Another reason is to fulfill their emotional bonding side, many children may don’t even know about their parents or their love.
We also invite students who are needy with basic wants and also who are non-local, which reflects in reducing homesickness feelings may be difficult for some but may be accomplished by remaining on campus during the week and on weekends. Prakriti Foundation identified the problem and created cultural activities to reduce homesickness. It may help students get out of their campus and become more involved in athletic and social events. Students learn more about other resources and associate with other learners with whom they may find familiar ground. It will enhance the benefits of staying physically and mentally healthy.
When we conduct cultural activities, students have homily food, healthy and traditional food. For at least one day they feel at home, which is essential in a student's life. As without health, no one can achieve anything. Poor sleep practices will leave unproductive work and play as a college student—the effects of sleep divestment on health. Unresolved attachment difficulties usually cause distress, irritation, and anger. Festival is said to drop bitterness in us. Any of these activities can cause us to lose focus of the goals we are trying to achieve. Even if we must walk, separate, or even "agree to disagree," thriving attempts at relational conflict judgment are necessary for each of our lives. Prakriti Foundation adopt these activities to teach how to maintain the life cycle. Every obstacle can increase a student's stress level and add to emotional lows. Some find temporary assistance in partying, which, in abundance and the long run, may contribute to depression. If stress and depression are identified problems, seek acknowledged support. Prakriti Foundation amazed these problems with students far from their home generally face these issues. When they attend festivals organized by Prakriti Foundation, they feel counselled freely, listen, and help students get back on track.
Prakriti Foundation organizes cultural activities such as festival celebration and competitions with the help of the volunteers to boost their energy levels and motivate our members. Our cultural activities involve social activities too. This means, wherever or whenever we organize cultural activities, we invite orphanage homes to celebrate with us. Where we serve them with new dresses fulfilling them desires, and provide good quality food and try to fulfill their desire by conducing few competitions at these times or celebrate, children would not feel bad when one of their friends get a gift or prize with in the competition.
The main reason Prakriti Foundation started cultural activity is to make our team members motivated and get more involved in social activities. If we ask them to do only fund collection it will be hectic as well as frustrated as there is no relief point. Help idea should not involve frustration. So, we arrange cultural activities where they can enjoy spend time with their family, relax and we can gather amount and spend less on cultural activities and spend more on social activities.
