Many students who perform the Lakshmi puja during Diwali often feel loneliness and isolation. This is because they are not able to be with their families during this time and instead are performing the ritual for many orphans and needy students. The puja can be a time of sadness for these students as they miss being around their loved ones.
Lakshmi Puja Celebration At Prakriti Foundation
Lakshmi Puja is a Hindu festival celebrated in autumn every year to honour the goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. The festival is marked by prayers, worship, and offerings to the deity, as well as by special food items prepared in her honor. The festival also includes processions, musical and dance performances, and other traditional activities.
Prakriti Foundation invites students who are not from the local area. The foundation emphasizes on helping these students meet their basic needs, so that they can focus on their academic goals. The foundation also provides opportunities for the students to get involved in various cultural and social activities.
Creating A Homely Environment
Attending festivals organized by Prakriti Foundation has been a great experience for many students. The festivals are a great way to learn about Indian culture, and the various performances and exhibits allow students to experience the culture firsthand. The festivals are also a great opportunity to meet new people and make friends.
The Lakshmi Puja event was very successful and it brought together many students and members of our team. The event was very well-organized and everyone had a great time. We would like to thank all of the students who came out and participated, as well as our team for their hard work in making the event a success. We hope to organize more events like this in the future and we look forward to seeing everyone there!
